What a busy day! We took advantage of having everyone here and they had the kitchen empty in no time. We also got lots of good ideas about how to put it back together again.
Went to Mass at 7 pm at St. Anne's

Another sunny day. Worked on the computer and took pictures of the empty kitchen. 4°C -13°C
Tuesday January 10, 2012
A workday and the day they tore out the floor of the kitchen. It looks like all the beams will need to be replaced.
Had panzarotti and salad for supper. 4°C 1°C
Wednesday January 11, 2012
A beautiful sunny workday. No work done on the kitchen, but Steve inspected the floor and workers will be here tomorrow.
Chinese for supper. Will try and watch some DVR tonight. 3°C -2°C

A real yucky day, rain and snow. The boys worked at removing stones and getting a form ready for cement. We have ramps to get back and forth across the kitchen area.
Leftovers for supper. 0°C -4°C
Friday January 13, 2012
Worked till noon as usual and when we got home the cement truck came and couldn’t get up the driveway. The boys had to haul the cement in buckets.
We had our staff dinner at The Ranch with Fr. and Seward and Brenda.
Christopher called to tell us that he and Lori are engaged! -3°C -10°C

Very cold but sunny. Had to do the dishes in the bathtub!
Did lots of downloading of kits.
Got some DVR watching done had popcorn too!
Finished reading Uncle Tom's Cabin on my PlayBook. -12°C -21°C

Isn't lovely working on old houses. I had my share of doing dishes in the bathtub, too, when we renovated our kitchen. to bad they had to hand bomb the cement.
